    The Umass-Lowell Jr. Riverhawks is an organization that is dedicated to the youth of  the Merrimack Valley region and all of Massachusetts and beyond. Today's membership is more than 150 strong; made up of boys & girls ages nine through High school who love the game of ice hockey and want to play at the highest level in New England. The Riverhawks organization focuses it's efforts on the education and phyicial benifits of hockey in endeavoring to install lifelong qualities of diligence,sportsmanship and personal achievement in all our players.
 
This is the oldest youth hockey organzation in America. This is a AAA premiere league and is considered to be one of the best in the United States, which was founded in 1977 as alternative to " town hockey" In the 26 years of exsistence the MBHL has  developed to produce many college and professional level athletes. The league consists of 14 teams across New England, from Providence, R.I  to Salem, New Hampshire, just to name a few states that we attend.
